Low hills, rugged coastlines and olives everywhere. Kastos is an ideal, safe anchorage and amazing fishing spot. The one of a kind village with its stone houses and restaurants has been build around the port and consists of about 50 residents which the summer are many more. The beaches are Abelakia, Fiki (south), Vali, Koilada, Agios Emilianos ( Saint Aemilianus ) (where the Fokotrypa, a small cave with a depth of 30 meters and sand inside), Limni, Kamini and Vrisidi in the east, which is accessible from the mainland. The western side is steep and has no beaches. Therein lies the bay Sarakiniko with a small port where you can moor the boat when strong south wind blowing.
