KEFALONIA

Kefalonia is located in the Ionian Sea and belongs to the Ionian Islands. It is the largest of the Ionian Islands and the most mountainous. The island has an area of 781 km². and a population of 38 770 inhabitants, with larger cities Argostoli, Lixouri, Poros, Sami and Skala. A visit to the island will be unforgettable, so make sure you have several days available for you to admire the beauty of Kefalonia. Many tourists visit the island every year. In the northern part of Kefalonia is Fiscardo one of the most famous Greek villages in the world. The village has become world famous by the visits of Hollywood celebrities (actors, singers and others ).

Beaches: Kefalonia has dozens of beautiful and unique beaches with golden sand, crystal and clear waters, cliffs, and an amazing landscape. The most famous Myrtos has been voted 11 as the best Greek sea. Other beaches are: Lourdas, Kateleios, Antisamos, Vatsa, Avythos.

Night Life: Kefalonia is not so famous for its nightlife, as other Greek islands, but it certainly will not disappoint visitors!
